Team Coaches and Scorers should you be using GameChanger for the upcoming 2024 Winter Season to score, listed below are two aspects of scoring in GameChanger that you can assist you for the upcoming season.

GameChanger Set-up

For those teams which use GameChanger to score with; to simplify setups and share data please look to use the following settings when creating your teams:

Sport: Baseball Team Type: Local League Age Group: Over 18 Team Location: Location of Home Ground (or if no Home Ground, “Sutherland”) Team Name: StGBA 2024 [Grade] [Club Name] [Colour, optional where more than one team from same club in same grade). For example, StGBA 2024 3rd
Grade Comets (Gold) Governing Body: Skip for now Season: Summer 2024
(remember GameChanger is setup for northern hemisphere) By using these “common” settings, teams/scorers will be able to easily find and share team lists/rosters to speed up setting up each game.

GameChanger Leagues

GameChanger has a new “BETA” feature. “BETA” means that it may not be fully developed and might still have bugs.

This new feature is GameChanger Organisation/Leagues. Within this Beta feature the StGBA can group the teams within the same Grade.

StGBA has created the StGBA Organisations for 2024 with our 8 grades setup as “leagues”. Currently you are not able to search and request to join a league, you must be sent an invitation from within the “League”.

Any teams that wish to trial this new Beta feature this season; please send through your EXACT Team Name you have setup your team with to your Club Secretary.

NOTE: the season needs to not be in the “past”

And an invitation will be sent to you once lodged by your Club Secretary.
