In memory of Norman 'Norm" Hord who sadly passed away at the age of 95.

Our sympathies go out to the Hord family in this period of grief.

Norm’s contributions to the StGBA, StG-SBUA, STGJBC and the broader baseball community will always be treasured both by those who knew him and the baseball community who still benefit from his work. Norm formed the Diamonds Baseball Club and worked in forming the St George Sutherland Baseball Umpires Association. Norm is a life member of the St George Baseball Association, St George Sutherland Baseball Umpires Association and St George Junior Baseball Club. He was also the Patron of the StGBA for 22 years from 1983 to 2005. The 8th Grade MVP Trophy is named in his honour.

RIP Norm, thanks for your contribution to the Association and our game.
